Kagami Biraki: breaking Kagamimochi↓English↓
1月11日は縁起物の鏡餅を食べながら、今年の無病息災を願う「鏡開き」。
らさら荒田店でも、じっくりことこと炊きあげたぜんざいにお餅を添えてご用意しております。お茶と一緒に今年も手作りぜんざいで温まっていってください。
＊餅入りぜんざいはなくなり次第終了となります。
“Kagami Biraki” is the event of eating “Kagami mochi”, two-round piled up rice cakes, at the end of the New Year.
At the end of the new year season, we eat the “Kagami Mochi” to wish good health and happiness in the new year.
At our cafe in Arata, we use ”Kagami mochi” in zenzai. Zenzai, a sweet red bean paste “soup” with mochi or shiratama dumplings, is one of the familiar sweets during wintertime.
The number of mochi is limited. Don’t miss it!
